The Woven Bracelet
We commissioned the woven bracelet above to illustrate how local nonprofit agencies are "better together" at the Family Center.
Just like the individual strands of thread, each Family Center agency is an independent agency. But when those threads are woven together they combine to form something that is more beautiful, more useful, and significantly stronger than any of the threads were individually. Similarly, the Family Center agencies came together under one roof and brought about a fabulous synergy. Their daily routines are interwoven as they work together to help families and individuals in Hancock County.
Local textile artist, Sharon Hammer Baker, created the original design shown above.
